Container Cabotage
There are a number of reasons for cabotage or positioning movements of containers. The most commonly known is to arrange them to be located in low demand areas to high demand areas in order to minimize down-time. There are also economic considerations involved i.e. to position them by cabotage to areas where the resale value is higher than the previous location. With our worldwide contacts, we will be able to assist in your positioning needs in order to derive the most efficient use of your equipment as cost effectively as possible.
Custom Modifications
Besides the traditional use of containers for marine freight transportation, used containers are extremely versatile and can be easily and economically modified to serve many purposes. In fact, a container can be customized for a variety of uses within 24 hours. Compared to the time and expenses of constructing a building, customized containers are not only cost effective and time efficient but easily relocate-able as well.
